My West Coast Franchise Expo Visit
I made a brief visit to the West Coast Franchise Expo (WCFE) on Friday of last week, the opening day of the event. I have not been to WCFE in a couple of years, and was interested in catching up with old friends and meeting some new ones.
There were more than 100 exhibits at the Expo, representing a wide variety of industries and investment levels, as well as franchise suppliers and publications. I got there when the show opened, and attendance was brisk and seemed to be picking up throughout the afternoon.
Another feature of the Expo were free seminars offered, covering a broad range of topics, from how to buy a franchise, to how to franchise an existing business, to how to take an established franchise to the next level.
The WCFE is an excellent venue for those interested in learning about franchising and discovering the wide variety of concepts that are available. I enjoyed my visit to the Expo, seeing old friends and making some new ones, and look forward to keeping in touch with them throughout the year.
